Hilary began in the design industry as a kitchen and bath designer, and chose to transition into full residential design as a new challenge later in her carreer.  She grew up in a small town on the Chesapeake Bay before going to college in historical Salem MA.  The lifestyle of these towns developed in Hilary a deep love of coastal design, as well as an appreciation of traditional architecture and a timeless atmosphere.
